The number plate of automobile is in the structure of upper and lower rows. Article 4: the number of characters of the code of the motor vehicle registration authority is 2, which is composed of Chinese characters and English letters respectively. The Chinese character is the abbreviation of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government, and the English letter is the code of vehicle management office. The motor vehicle registration authority code of the vehicle number plate number is located in the middle above the number plate, and the Chinese characters and English letters are arranged horizontally; The motor vehicle registration authority code of the motorcycle number plate is located on the left side of the number plate, and the Chinese characters and English letters are arranged vertically.
Article 5: the number of characters of the number plate is 5 digits, which is composed of Arabic numerals or Arabic numerals and English letters. There are 10 Arabic numerals from 0 to 9 and 24 English letters from a to Z.
Article 6: the numbering characters of automobile number plates are in a three digit plus three digit structure, arranged in a horizontal single line, and separated by "●" and "━" in the middle“ ● "refers to the front plate and" ━ "refers to the rear plate. The number characters of motorcycle license plate are arranged in a horizontal single line.
Article 7: the independent arrangement and combination of the number plate number characters can be divided into the following three types, which is a three digit plus three digit structure and shall not be absent:

（2） 3 Arabic numerals and 3 English letters, such as 123 ● ABC;
（3） 3-digit Arabic numerals and 3-digit Arabic numerals, such as 123 ● 456.
Article 8: the same license plate resource database and the same number sequence shall be used for the four license plates of large cars, small cars, motorcycles and mopeds.
Article 9: three identical English letters or three identical Arabic numerals shall not be used in the number plate. Such as AAA, 111.
In addition to today's optional personalized license plates, the 92 type motor vehicle license plate [2] currently used consists of Chinese and English letter licensing authority codes and five digit numbers.
